My first ever planned trip to Sydney was back in 2007; which never happened because i slipped and slid across a sly club’s dance floor at the Malaysian Students Association ball after-party, thus twisted my ankle awfully. The result – i spent my uni break in bandages (and loving Tassie friends). However, that didn’t stop me from reorganizing another trip to Sydney with my bestie / BFF / soulmate. This post is a photo diary of our one day trip spent entirely on foot with a map in hand, exploring the city the way it would be done by Carrie and Miranda in Sex & The City.
{we stayed at Cambridge Hotel – the ‘Finalist Motel Accommodation’ hotel in the National Accommodation Industry Awards for Excellence ’09}
{had an unforgettable meal at The Goods – mine was Griddle & Smoothie <3}
{hilariously went in circles around Queen Victoria Building to look for Queen Victoria Building (QVB), when it was just right in front of us – because the picture shown in the brochure looks so much more… magnificent}
{same goes to The Sydney Tower so we decided to just take a snapshot of it from afar – at this point i feel really proud of our Petronas Twin Towers!}
{sight-seeing and shopping as the shy sun secretly sets behind Sydney’s concrete jungle}
{Sydney Harbor Bridge showcasing its panoramic view at night}
{had a lil’ taste of art before dinner}
{at Löwenbräu Keller – fresh pretzels (have you ever seen them so lovely), beautiful fresh garden salad, and delicious pork knuckle for two lovely ladies to end an awesome Saturday night in a vibrant city full of possibilities…}
