Some interesting fact:
-Spain is the 1st World Cup winner to have lose their opening match.
-Spain is officially the lowest scoring winners of all time – scoring only 8 goals in their entire journey throughout the finals.
-Spain is the 2nd reigning European Champions to have won the World Cup. (The 1st being West Germany)
-Spain is the 1st European team to won the World Cup outside of their own continent.
