Receiving emails from my (incredibly) sweet readers is undeniably one of the best things about blogging, and this one enquiring about my hair makes me wanna write a blog post on answering some questions i didn’t get around replying. Here is how a short and sweet mail from Elise reads:
To answer some general queries about my ‘crown of glory’, i do certain things at different salons:
To trim my fringe: Maxwell Salon @ Jaya One
Find Ice. i will NEVER EVER let anyone touch my fringe, but her.
To dye my hair: Fabulous @ TTDI
Get Nick. He always gets me the EXACT color i long for.
To cut: Raymond Choon @ Gardens
Book Raymond. You can feel professionalism running through his fingers as he does magic to your tresses.
p.s. i don’t perm / iron my hair. to achieve my ‘signature hair style’, watch this video i did some time ago. i rarely cut my hair so i usually trim them @ Fabulous after a good dye once in 6 months.
Speaking of Fabulous, there is an oxygen cube installed at the salon and i was very lucky to be given a chance to be the very first few to get in for a free ride~ There are less than 200 machines in the world, and here we have the very first one in South East Asia! A session takes approximately an hour so i brought my girl Ruby with me:
The benefits of this oxygen treatment is massive. It is recommended for diabetics or cancer patients stage 3 / 4. David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Michael Jackson, and Madonna use it to heal injuries / after plastic surgeries as this treatment activates our stem cells breaking them up to 8 times more. It is also perfect for eczema and scar healing, does whitening to skin, makes one sleep better… the list goes on. Apparently, it is also used during the World War 2 by the armies to train their bodies!
Nobody can complain about getting too much oxygen. Even if your last name is Beckham. 😛
