Did you know that August is Romance Awareness Month? For the single or taken; being near or far, romance is not overrated when done right.
This month is your license to be cheesy and also a time to think of new ways to improve your relationship; be it a creative approach to make things fun or a wise, strategic perspective to solve a persisting problem left at a dark corner for a while now.
For the former; looking or not looking for ‘the one’, don’t forget that our furry friends would appreciate some love too. A trip to a cat café on International Cat Day; which falls on 8th August, might delight you just as much (if not more) as a blind date from Tinder.

Other events to get you cinspired: No one but me would probably remind you that there is an International Beer Day (5th August), dance to strange music at the Rainforest World Music Festival (5th – 7th August), adopt a pet on International Homeless Animals Day (20th August) & make every day happy, go on a Penang road trip for Georgetown Festival (the month of August), take only 2 days (1st & 2nd September off) for a 5-day long weekend this Merdeka holiday!
