One of my 2016 resolutions is to add more diverse content within the 6 categories of my blog. Under ‘Food’, aside from recipes, I think it’d be a fun idea to include reviews of my favorite restaurants. Most of them come highly recommended by my parents (hardcore foodies who drive around the nation in search for the best [insert dish here] and trust me, they would settle for nothing less) or by a trusty source like for this Thai restaurant, approved by an ex-colleague of mine who is half Malaysian, half Thai.
My favorite cuisine after Korean, is Thai food. However, the first restaurant that came to mind which I find absolutely worth sharing is a tropical place named Frame Thai. It is so authentic that I personally think that it puts all Thai restaurants in the country as second runner ups.
Things you should know about Frame Thai:
It is always sweltering hot in here – so wear breathable, comfortable clothes.
Don’t get cheated (I will spare you TWO atrocious stories) – know the prices and calculate a rough figure before asking for the bill; which is why in this post I’ve included a price guide. If you’re thinking of asking for a detailed receipt, here you can just forget about it.
Dishes here are the most authentic in KL you can get in terms of Thai food – ingredients are brought in across the border between Malaysia and Thailand.
