Who would have thought that there is a lesson to learn just by wearing a hat to Akan National Park at Hokkaido. My initial plan was of course, to embrace fall fashion, which I don’t get to do in hot and hazy Malaysia. Turns out it wasn’t the most brilliant idea; even if it was to avoid getting cold ears! The entire time I had to keep one hand on the hat, or it would most probably fly it to . . . Fuji? Yet I can’t deny that it all comes together as appropriately scenic – with my tangled hair, furry vest and fringed bag; lending that tousled ‘model off-duty’ look.
