Silver Peppers

Sometimes all it takes to add some sparks into a space-too-familiar is by simply adding in a *new* element, just like how this net light does its brilliant trick. Initially, i thought they were ugly. Correction – They never caught my attention to begin with. It was not until i saw a western couple eyeing on them for the past 15 minutes while i was shopping for this instead. In the end i bought both and loved this more, as they reminded me of the “silver peppers of the stars“. Such is an inexplicable beauty in life – you’ll never know until you try something peculiar… or as one of my favorite old Malay saying goes, “tak kenal maka tak cinta“.
