Krabi : Stay

Kstay

Our choice for the season’s holiday stay was Ananta Burin Resort, an affordable boutique resort which Charlene managed to purchase a good deal for online. It has all the basic requirements a hotel should have (not the kind of ‘basic’ where only hand soap is provided). There is a splashy pool where you can get a massage / spa done right next to it. Eri even got a special treatment for her bloating tummy from a friendly elderly masseuse – for free! 😀

Bonuses: A convenient store standing right opposite our resort. It is also only a 10 minutes walk from Ao Nang beach. Getting around is made easy, given that the staffs readily call for your preferred transportation as you lounge at the waiting area (shown below). All in all, i would describe our stay as satisfactory, pleasant, and worthy. Luggage storage is provided for late leavers. Rate: 3.5/5

{Travel tip: Upon checking in / before leaving the hotel, i always make sure that we have a map in hand with all the locations we want to visit of that day circled, and dubbed with their local name if necessary. (Use a new map for a new day, or circle new locations with a different colored pen to avoid confusion.) The hotel receptionists should be happy to assist you. This makes navigating easier, and is less of a hassle when explaining to the Tuk Tuk / taxi drivers where you want to go}
