harbour town is a good place for bargains but it really depends on the time you visit, june-july, nov-dec is a better time..(based on my personal experience)
anyways,just so happened to click through your blog and your GC post reminds me of my days in Brisbane when I often make day trips to GC.. I’m residing in Sydney.
