{gliding luxuriously in the sky with SilkAir, living the MasterCard experience}
They say, “There are some things money can’t buy, for everything else there’s MasterCard“. I (really) couldn’t agree more with that line. It was such an honor to be flown down to Singapore to be part of the MasterCard experience. From the elegant hotel stay at Fairmont, lavish dinning at Marina Bay Sands, sponsored Great Singapore Sale shopping spree, to the mind-blowing performance by Lady GaGa at Singapore’s Indoor Stadium, spending all that time together with an awesome bunch of crazy people i’m about to introduce you that made each and every day more meaningful – being a MasterCard cardholder sure is a treat… What more can I say, the trip was so amazing i feel bad for all this to those who missed out, but here is my documented 3 days trip in 1 single post:
{reading while flying – new favorite pastime fit for a MasterWoman}
{in a handsome limo along an empty road… entering ‘twilight zone’}
{a couple of famous and fabulous landmarks in Singapore}
{checked in at the magnificent Fairmont Hotel, hosted by MasterCard}
{pictures of my upgraded room (lucky me because they had no normal rooms left :p)}
{the harbor view from my sky high balcony}
{a glass-made bathroom; which i loved more than my bed}
{buffet lunch @ the Asian Market – you’ll learn below that i could eat a cow like a cow}
{Round 1: fresh shellfish galore}
{Round 2 : Go Local!}
{Round 3 : delectable fusion of Japanese & Turkish}
{Round 4 : desserts of all textures and flavors}
{THE MasterClaw by MasterCard}
{bedazzled in Topshop DressUp}
{riding in a capsule of Singapore Flyer, where MasterCard took us 165 meters up high in the sky – with style!}
{Angela, journalist from Philippines | beaming me | Tian Chad, looking at the bright side}
{dinner and drinks @ DB Bistro Moderne, Marina Bay Sands, with the fabulous MasterCard team}
{2 hours reading in the bathtub – and almost evolved into a raisin}
{breathtaking night view from Room 1135}
{#grouphoto: second day of MasterCard experience}
{delicious buffet breakfast @ Pedro’s}
{all geared up with MasterCard PayPass for the Great Singapore Sale happening 25th May – 22 July! (you still have more than a month to get your MasterCard PayPass and shop till you drop)}
{free and easy shopping @ ION Orchard}
{Wilson (the famous makeup artist from Beijing) | Chelsey (Canadian TV Host based in China) | tiny me, a blogger from Malaysia | Benny (radio DJ from Hong Kong)}
{GSS – can you spot my beloved MasterCard?? 😀 }
{Peanut Toffee Caramel, all thanks to Chelsey’s MasterCard PayPass)}
{The Tap Card – i nicknamed my MasterCard PayPass “the tap card” because a simple tap is all it takes to perform a transaction; such a fast, easy, and convenient alternative way to pay for low value purchases where we would normally pay with cash :D}
{as a fashion traveller, you can imagine how happy i was to know that British high street labels (Topshop, Miss Selfridge, and Dorothy Perkins) are part of the MasterCard PayPass partners and the MasterCard shopping spree experience}
After dominating GSS, we went back to our hotel for another pampering session sponsored by MasterCard #likeaboss:
{if we were a band we would be called Primary Colors wtf}
{skinny fat people}
It is a well-known fact that MasterCard constantly presents their cardholders with priceless VIP experiences and this time, guess what’s THE biggest highlight of it all:
{a sponsored Lady GaGa Born This Way Concert + Ball MasterCard VIP ticket!}
{this out-of-this-world concert took place @ Singapore Indoor Stadium where we received Red Carpet Treatment such as the exclusive before and after shows, direct access to our VIP seats through the lounge, drop off + pick up via a private driveway; which means NO traffic jam at all, an accessory booth for us to glam up like GaGa, plus canapés, dinner and beverages served in the MasterCard Lounge – you too can experience this just by being a MasterCard cardholder}
{you know how powerful a card is when it gives you exclusive privileges that no other cards could by simply being its “master” / card holder. This concert is so extraordinary not because it was GaGa’s, but because MasterCard gave me an experience that is permanently unforgettable. Forget sweaty concerts and squeezing in the crowd just to see your idol the size of an ant. This time, we were literally rockin’ at the edge of glory by our VIP seats and marry the night; while still looking fabulous at our own lil ‘private after-party’ after dominating the VIP lounge}
{losing your voice screaming for your idol : priceless}
{limo ‘snack bar’ – how marvelous!}
{last group picture before we flew separate ways across the globe}
