Victorian Princesses

Last Friday night was nothing like Katy Perry’s version of T.G.I.F. If i must label it, everything was Gossip Girl absolute. Being one of the exclusive few to witness local reowned designer, Carven Ong, present his latest evening couture collection at OneSixFive, InterContinental Hotel was more than entertaining. The night of fashion was full of discovery – Mimi and i learned that we would never fight over men; as we checked out the (only 2) male models going “Oohhh the Mexican is mine. You’re the hybrid kind!“. But of course, the best part was no doubt about choosing our favorite Victorian inspired gown for next year’s big event, accompanied by tea on ice and lovely canapés prepared by the awesome Chef Darrel O’Neil.
