Nothing in my monstrous suitcase seems more appropriate to be worn on my first official day in Turkey other than this slightly geometrical-print, batik-inspired silk slip with sleeves that cuff right at the wrists to highlight peeks of hidden details; like the pearl bracelets and minimalist rings; which makes this outfit more special if not personal, especially when gazed up-close.
Other 3 details I love: the layering of delicate necklaces, my Furla bag; a definite conversation starter around the world nicknamed by men as ‘the aquarium’ (a tried, tested, proven fact), and the most comfy leather sandals that walked with me throughout the entire month without hurting – all inspired by the pretty pastel colors of Hagia Sofia as we blend in, yet not camouflaged.
