辣炒年糕是一道非常受欢迎的韩国小吃。这道著名的小吃只需要几样简单的材料就可以完成 。为了让孩子们营养更全面,我加入了豆包,自制鱼丸及炸蛋。哗! 煎过的豆包吸满了那香辣的汤汁,不得了,十分好吃。自己做的辣炒年糕加料多多可当正餐来享用,省时又省力超划算。我的两个宝贝已把这道料理列入我家十大排行榜菜单中呢!
冷冻库里常备一包年糕便可随时为亲爱的家人做他们喜爱的食物。我的厨房永远飘着饭菜香……

Topokki (Tteokbokki) is a very popular Korean snack. This famous street food only takes a few simple ingredients to make. In order to give my children a more comprehensive nutrition, i added fresh bean curd pockets, homemade fish balls and fried boiled eggs. Wow! Those fried bean curd pockets fully absorbed in spicy soup is incredible and very delicious. By making your very own Topokki, you can add as much ingredients as you like to your heart’s content, thus it can be enjoyed as a complete meal; saving time, effort and is super worthy. My two sweethearts have included this dish into my kitchen’s Top Ten menu!

In our freezer, standbys a packet of Korean rice cake so that i can make my dear family their favorite dish anytime. My kitchen is always alive and my home smells like a home, 24/7……

材料 / Ingredient : (Serves 4)

1 packet Korean rice cake (400g)
1 packet fresh bean curd pocket (about 12 pieces)
30 homemade fish balls
5 boiled eggs
2 red chillies
2 green cillies
1 bowl kimchi
1t ginger puree
2t garlic puree

 

Seasoning 1:
3T olive oil (used throughout the whole recipe)
4T Korean chili powder
1/2T sesame oil
1/2T plain flour

 

Seasoning 2:
3T Korean chili paste (Gochujang)
3 & a 1/2 cup water
5T tomato sauce
2T soy sauce
1/2t granules
1T sugar

 

做法 / Method :

  1. Cook rice cakes in boiling water for about 30 seconds, till slightly soft. Dish out and place in cold water, drain.
  2. Pan fry been curd pockets with 2T oil, until golden on both sides. Remove. Repeat process for homemade fish balls and boiled eggs.
  3. Heat up remaining oil and sesame oil. Using low heat, saute ginger + garlic puree and chilies till fragrant. Add in Seasoning 1. Stir fry then add in Seasoning 2. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add all ingredients in and cook. Mix well. Serve.

p.s. Do not cook rice cakes for too long or they will turn soggy.
