i bet most of you do not know that the famous car line known as Mercedes, is named after the daughter of Emil Jellinek, a wealthy Austrian automobile entrepreneur. Mercedes might have married twice scandalously and died of bone cancer at a rather early age, but her classy name is still preserved as one of the most respected brands known in the world today.
No visit to Stuttgart is considered complete without a visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum. i have not been to all the automobile museums on the planet, but i am pretty confident to say that this is probably the best. The very first car was invented here in Stuttgart by the Germans, Benz and Daimler. So how can we possibly go wrong here?
