When eating out, my husband will definitely order curry noodles, Hokkien mee, char siew rice, and other greasy dishes. i’m very worried that his cholesterol will rise. Every time he returns from work, i usually welcome him with a light, tasty, nutritious soup as a hearty tummy warmer. This radish, fish balls, and enoki mushroom soup is very nutritious and high in fibre. Accompanied with just a small bowl of steam rice, it’s so simple and pretty good too!
材料 / Ingredient: (Serves 3 – 4)
Fish Balls
350g mackerel fish (isi ikan tenggiri)
2T egg white
2T ice water
1t ginger paste
Seasoning:
1/2t salt
1/2t granules
1/4t pepper
1/2T corn flour
做法 / Method:
Mix all the ingredients together (except ginger paste). Blend in a quad blade chopper.
Remove fish paste from food processor and place it in a mixing bowl.
Prepare a bowl of cold water at one side. Using wet hands, gather fish paste together.
Hit paste about 7 times against the mixing bowl to firm it up.
Add ginger paste.
With wet hands, form paste into a round ball.
Paste is ready to be used! 😀
