My all-time favorite poem is by Robert Frost, which I named as this blog post title. It revisited me when I came across two diverged roads at Ryōan-ji, leaving me feeling terribly sorry knowing that I can’t travel both; as we had 6 places in our Kyoto itinerary to cover in 1 day.
This photo diary is all about ponds of pink lilies, lazy bamboo leaves casting beautiful shadows, and rock statues delightfully greeting you at unexpected corners. The most unforgettable part for me is discovering the flight of stairs leading to a minimalist Zen rock garden of fine ‘dry landscape’ which upon exiting, brings you to a happy sight of watching how trees are being ‘fed’ like babies with bottles! Hope you enjoy this very green adventure as much as I do. 😉
