Of all things red and rosy, the gayest in my house is undoubtedly this lion head and i can’t help feeling ever so slightly jealous of it. Some people have been telling me that the snake year is not such a good year for those born in the tiger (and pig) family, and most unfortunately the tigress in me will have to agree with that.
As much as i would love to share with you ‘the love’, ‘the warmth’, or any of those cliché festive package one would expect in a seasonal blog post as such, that, i fail to provide. With heartbreaking one way conversations, unavoidable judgements, and loud heavy sighs constantly weighing me down, i learned to seek some peace in my small secret world of turbulence to find time for a bit of laughter by spinning around in the garden like the little girl i once used to be; which gives you the golden opportunity to think twice:
Is what you see, really what you get?
This is a (fashion) post made out of leather, to remind you to stay strong no matter what comes your way this new year. And one very strong word, my friend, is: 忍 。
