Finally we’re back on the Beijing posts! i know, i know, it’s been ages. But hey, let’s not go there. Why waste more time? 😉
This is me, having Breakfast at Tiffany’s Teffany’s. You know, in China we have to copy and fake everything. q:
The food on my plate might look delish, but trust me i couldn’t swallow a thing! i don’t know how to explain you – i’m the most cincai person i know when it comes to food, but this time it really really sucks!
So i had to resort to Marry Me i mean Maggi Mee instant noodles.
i was SO glad (SO GRATEFUL) i bought and kept one for emergency like this.
Everybody in the bus was eyeing my noodle cup like it’s made of gold and went “ooo“, “waaa” in envy. Then the aunties were telling the uncles they must also “stock-up” later. lmao
After savoring the tastiest meal throughout the whole trip, we finally reached the mountains. Here i captured a few shots from inside the bus :
Mountains and blue skies!! 8)
Roofs sheltering a peaceful neighbourhood.
This reminds me of a cemetery.. or maybe it is. Don’t wanna know.
Then, my friends, our poor bus gotta face TWO obstacles.
1. THE LORRY TRAFFIC JAM
Jesus Maria y Jose. Jam on the mountains! i cannot believe it.
The queue is SO inconceivably LONG it reminds me of a TRAIN in a World War movie scene!
So the smart driver took a shortcut that is not even a route, and the giant vehicle faced a :
2. BIG HOLE 1,000,000 TIMES LARGER THAN YOUR…..
#FOL
i dare not look at the ground so i looked at the sky till we successfully passed thru the obstacle. 8)
HURRAY~! BYE BYE LORRY JAM!! FYI, we were supposed to take THAT route.
Camwhored when my heart felt safe.
Finally we reached!
Hi! 😀
Walking cross the bridge.
Ain’t the journey worthy. <3
Guess where i came from; walking like a superstar in a paparazzi style shot?
The dirty loo. HAHAHA!
Where we were.
The best has YET to come, my friends. Hold on.
See the temple behind our family picture?
We had to CLIMB it!!! This definitely BEATS waterfall trekking @ Cameron Highlands hands down. Take my word for it. The stairs gets NARROWER the higher we go, and they SHAKE!
Above is the ONLY picture i can afford to take or i would pee in my pants skirt and you’re free to imagine how ridiculous the scene would be if that really happened.
Clinging on tight to a temple door, my brother assisted me in taking this picture. i swear to lift up a smile felt as heavy as lifting a ton of bricks.
Heights and the Wonders they can do to a Woman. It’s like my kryptonite.
My heart secretly prayed to these Gods that everyone will climb back down safe. Some people look so much older and fragile than the temple!
i guess my prayers were heard. 😉
It’s said that this cobweb inspired temple was built wayyy before architecture exists in this world.
The emperor requested for a place like “heaven” hence, this was built for him. This is a very special temple because no sun rays, rain, or snow can reach it.
Amazing, eh? 8)
Took a shot on the bridge for my brother on the way back to the bus.
End of cobweb adventure! i felt like a lucky prey that escaped a spider’s trap.
Now that i wrote this post i recalled how bangga i felt after climbing up those stairs and coming back down in one piece! It felt like an achievement bigger than scoring A’s for SPM. i’m probably bad at explaining myself.
Here is one last picture before i end this post :
Second half coming up soon! That one is less adventurous, but promisingly more picturesque.
See you tomorrow! 😀
looks like a dman nice trip!
it was not too bad! an unforgettable experience
very “Soft tone” ah the pics.. nice 🙂
thanks! haha.. soft tone wtf
