Deciding what to wear for a lifetime trip to the Eiffel Tower was almost like a life or death matter to me. Although I am determined to go there again, there is always the possibility that it was my last; at least during this glorious time of my youth. The most challenging part was ‘What soles to wear?’ because equally, you want to enjoy every minute exploring the city without being constantly reminded of the pain at your feet. No doubt, Birkenstock is my answer – Whatever goes on top, will have to find its way to suit the bottom. That’s when I pulled out this interesting piece I’ve been saving for a very special occasion i.e. a romantic day out in Paris. It has a black band drawing definition to the waist that goes so well à la fois with my black Gizeh Birko-Flor. What a breeze indeed!
