Cambodia

As I write this post, my heart gets heavier by the word. A trip so sweet yet so short, so fulfilling yet capable of leaving one feel so hollow. 3 days is surprisingly more than enough to discover Siem Reap but when it’s time to head home, the thought of spending a whole month at the ruins doing absolutely nothing grabs you by the mind; making you think thrice if you have made the right decision. The answer is simply subjective / subjectively simple – depending strongly on whether you are a tourist or a traveller. I knew right away there and then that I was born with el síndrome del eterno viajero

{you don’t always have to climb mountains to feel like you’re at the top of the world}

{someone must have been really jealous of her cup size to do this to a gorgeous statue}

{whatever that thing is, one thing for sure – the locals were very happy riding it. Everyone was singing a harmonious, cheerful tune that instantly lightens up the heart}

{our delicious and healthy Khmer lunch}

{at around 5 p.m., we decided to resign from the Angkors. Note: you will definitely need to save 1 full day for Angkot Wat}

{we had both a mango dessert and coconut water each to wash down our day old thirst. It was such an incredible bliss}
