Hello October

There are a few precious lines we say this lifetime like “I’m getting married” or “We’re expecting!” which carry with them a bundle of joy. While I strongly believe those times will come by one day, lately there has been a line I truly enjoy saying and that is:

“I’m going to _______, sponsored by _______!

I hope it doesn’t sound too boastful because that’s not my point. August was full of surprises, September was all about toiling through weekends, and as for October, it brings me the purest joy. Thanks to Japan tourism board, I’ll be traveling to Japan in less than 10 days! 😀

There is something about being on a plane high up in the air, going somewhere faraway that makes my happy tank full. I’ve monitored many events that graced my life and true enough, nothing beats flying – not yet.

It has a special ability to put a smile on the heart, on the lips, on the mind; and to me, it is a wonderful feeling to be reminded of how fragile life can be, how beautiful earth is, and how lucky I am to be part of both.

I can’t wait to get lost in each unique city namely Nagoya, Kyoto, and Tokyo. If you have any recommendations on where to stay, what to eat, or how to move around, please do share them with me as I still can’t find the time to do any research yet.

3 other upcoming events that also make me a happy girl this October – catching Ruby acting in a theater piece this Friday, attending a weekend birthday party, and my soul sister, Ai Rene, who now resides in Australia is back in town!

Life should be more like that. Is there anything you look forward to this sparkling new month?
