Tarts in the Rain

The very last day @ Beijing left me with mixed feelings. Most part of me felt extremely grateful to return home and i missed our local food dearly. But some part of me believed that Beijing could’ve been so much more fun if we didn’t tag behind a tour guide like an ol’ squad.

It was raining cats and dogs, and i was grateful to have brought this grey ROXY sweater along; which tucked me warm throughout the whole trip ^.^

Supposedly, our last meal in Beijing should take place at a steamboat restaurant. Being a big fan of steamboats (especially on rainy days) that i am, i was really looking forward to that. But much to my disappointment and dismay, the lunch never happened – the restaurant bankrupted! So we resorted to KFC at the airport in the end.

There are two things i loved about the KFC @ China :

1. They serve warm soy milk (!)

2. They also serve crullers and EGG TARTS (!!!)

The egg tarts we have in KFC Malaysia are quite bad compared to these babies. i don’t quite know how to explain, but take my word for it. If you ever visit China, do try their KFC egg tarts! 😀

This is our tour guide, and my dad. i just thought they should take a picture cuz they look so cute together. (I’M KIDDING!!!)

Underneath the sweater, i was wearing :

TOPSHOP BLACK TANK & POLKA HEARTS SKIRT PANTS

RED ROME SCARF (gift)

HARRODS SLING BAG

CK WATCH

And that’s how my Beijing trip end. To summarize it all, it was fun; but we’re not going there anytime soon. And by that, i mean the next 10 or 20 years to come. Maybe with my kids someday, just because… i’m Chinese and so will they be!
