How to do the Rusty eye makeup

This look is often used on runway models.

I thought it’d be something different and interesting so I decided to try it on my eye lids and it worked! ^o^

Apply very thin layer of foundation, conceal dark circles, and dust on loose powder. Lightly colour your brows using a light brown brow pencil.

Take a rusty gold colour.

This goes on the crease of your lids; like picture above.

Get a colour like this; I’m using nymph.

Dust it all over your lids.

You’ll also need a rusty / dark orange,

For the corner of your eyes.

Take a shimmering light gold,

Sweep the colour across your brow bone for that lifting effect and also, dab some at the inner corner of the eyes.

So now we have a nice blend of rusty colour hues.

Line your eyes with a pencil eyeliner.

Fix on false lashes for that generous volume.

Pick your favourite blusher; doesn’t really matter if it’s orange or pink.

Suck your cheeks in and swipe the blush brush under your cheekbones.

Choose a rusty orange lipstick or if you don’t have one, just go nude on the lips. Don’t use bright colours – TRAGIC!

RUSTEHHH!!! xD

This is how I look like after my rusty makeup application.

I opted for a rusty baggy dress and then accentuate my curves by adding a brown belt to it.

So it looks something like this; sorry about the slanted angle. T_T

As for the feet??

RUSTY BALLET FLATS OF COZ! With studded gold beads; which is like the “in” thing right now.

I hope you have fun trying to be rusty~ Think Oscar the Grouch :

Perhaps that’s why we don’t put makeup on our nose, because rusty Oscar doesn’t have one. Haha!!
Good luck.

It is that time of the week again. My family just left me alone in my suite back to our hometown. Instead of staring at the wall and communicating with my BaBy BlackBerry, I decided to make better use of my time; which is to blog.
Today is the last day of Chinese New Year. To my surprise, I actually manage to celebrate every second of it. I’m serious~ Whether I’m at work, or even before I go to bed, I make sure I have something on me that is new. A new necklace or new lingerie for example. It makes a difference.
When I was young, CNY seemed to be about playing with cousins my age. Then it became about collecting angpows, buying clothes, visiting as many friends as I can, and for the next couple of years it felt like Chinese New Year didn’t mean anything.
However, this year it comes so naturally to me that CNY is about celebrating it with your family. It doesn’t matter where you are or what you do, that’s what it is all about. Not friends or money or the clothes you wear. Maybe because this is my year (the Tiger year) and I’m an adult now! lololol -_______-
Anyways, I hope you had a great celebration so far and I also hope that I’ve managed to successfully share with you how I celebrated mine through this blog.
I’ve posted countless pictures of CNY dishes but not the chef; which is my mom. So today, I’m gonna do that.

This is my mom, and also our beloved guest chef in Cin City.

She’s the one who will bring you this for example; Royal Jelly Strawberry Cheesecake. <3s!

And the Superwoman who can also make aloe vera grow THIS tall. @@

Or the feng sui plant THIS tall. =O

Not only can my mom cook, she also does gardening / landscaping like a pro!

Took a last glimpse of my pink car before we left for KL to celebrate the rest of CNY at my aunt’s…
