There are so much more meaningful things I could be doing right now instead of this. Flippin’ through books at MPH perhaps. Or have a nice long chat with Airene over tea. I haven’t met her since she came back from Australia and she is leaving soon even before I could imbas kembali this friendship we treasure so much. </3
It is not that I don’t like my job. It is not that I don’t understand that this is the nature of a typical working life. This is definitely the PMS talking and this is also one way that could make me feel a bit better – to rant about it knowing someone would read and relate to what I’m feeling right now. Are you in an office when you’d rather be doing something with someone else? Sounds so wrong.
I thought cats have 9 lives but perhaps Doraemon is more of a robot than a pussy. Gotta fix his legs during lunch time and then change the script for the stupid sketch. Throughout the weekend I’ll be working on a Doraemon CNY event at Mines. Now if you wanna kidnap me you know where to find me. No I didn’t mean that! Sigh…
Why can’t I be completely, genuinely happy with any jobs that I have? Why do I constantly; PMS or not, feel like I should be or belong somewhere else? How come this country doesn’t feel like home? I speak Bahasa more fluently than any other Chinese out there; shouldn’t I feel more home then? They say feeling lost is close to being found, but I haven’t found anything up till today. ):
Seriously, you don’t have to read this. I’m sorry that you did. Maybe I should have placed this sentence before anything else.

And so he got married!!! Finally.

He’s The Man! XD
Day

Remember the empty Kamdar store? Everyone was waiting outside in excitement for the bride & groom to arrive while I,

was busy having some kuih. Haha!!

Managed to take a family picture with the not-so-picturesque background. -_____-”

The Mercedes Benz finally arrived after a few hours of extensive waiting…

The many bridesmaid in purple; which is your cup of tea? (:

Pretty Candice and smart but cute Xiao Di Di.

<3 (,”) (“,)* <3

Upacara mengiktiraf bakal menantu…

Candid family picture for the groom!!!

My family and the newly weds.

I don’t know what upacara this is exactly, but I think it is something like ‘rest time’. lol

So we took a coussie picture together…
Night

All dressed up and ready to go~! Nerdy me.

The feast was held in a school hall because there were too many tables and apparently Primula Hotel couldn’t fit all!

One of my favvv cousin ever, Sotong Tan Sheau Torng. Tong Sampah also can.

Heart her maximus! She looked beautiful that night. ^o^

Posing with our ‘bunga telur Cina’.

Groom’s sista, Nicole and the very adorable bride’s cousin’s baby (lol I know).

Me & Julian Boiii.

So Loved! <3

The younger generation.

The bride and her very sophisticated looking father.

Giving away his daughter… )’:

FEAST TIME. This is called ‘leng pua’ (cold dish).

Cousin Ah Yih tryin’ his best to go fifty-fifty for all on the shark fin soup rationing task at our table.

Eugene busy dividing ice for the beer. *woohhh!*

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMM SENGGGGGGGGGGGGG !

Cut-the-Cake ceremony.

Inviting family members on stage to take a group picture.

Night bride in purple gown while I, in leopard print wtf.

My handsomest cousin Tan Kim Yeow, younger brother to the groom, Tan Kim Yen.

My other leng zai cousin Tan Kim Leong.

Josephine | Nicole | Pisang | Mee

The groom went on stage to sing a David Tao song just for his wife. Macam live band!

This feels like a Sunday! I’ve been working on weekends and thank God today is a public holiday for Wilayah or I’d go on NON-STOP till 11th February. Can you IMAGINE??? Today is only the 1st!
On Fashion
A couple of you are pretty interested in what I wore in my last post. I would say that my style is more ‘Western’ rather than the kawaii Taiwanese / Japanese fashionistas.
I <3 shorts, sandals, big totes, shades… You get the picture.

In fact, I’m afraid of thigh-high stockings. Especially those lacey ones! Unless I’m traveling to somewhere cold, that’s totally fine, but if I see someone wearing em’ walking along Jln Bukit Bintang…..
You very cold ah? HAHAHA!!! -__________-”

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t wear them. It depends on where you’re going. Matching stockings with your outfit well to a function you’re attending could bring it to a high-end edge.
If you are my style and like the way I wore my pieces like Sherlyn, here’s where I got em.
Spaghetti top: Forever 21
Torn denim shorts: Pull & Bear
Sandals: iPanema (model Gisele Bundchen’s design)
Brown faux leather bag: Sportsgirl Australia
Chunky handcuff: Curve weekend market
Sunglasses: Guess (my brother’s)
p/s: try wearing men’s stuff sometimes; they can be reeeal sexc!
On the wedding preparation
The family got an empty Kamdar store next to their apartment as the wedding day lunch venue.

This is actually a fitting room lol!

WE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO WEAR WHAT WE WANT TO SCHOOL!!!!! *riot wtf*

Decorating the space with balloons.

I couldn’t help because I am literally afraid of balloons! More of a phobia I believe~

Also, we came to a conclusion that no one steals motorbikes in Kuala Terengganu. You can even leave their KEYS on like this!
Maybe it’s because that bike is too old. Or maybe it is because……….

Someone would come chasing after you like THIS! XD

There’s a lot of ‘bullying’ amongst my funny cousins. Mostly physical. HAHA!!

Oohhh pink La Senza~
Where To Eat

If you’re at KT and wondering what to eat for dinner, find this road where cousie Peik Shang was standing.

Spot Golden Dragon restaurant.

One of their speciality is this chicken named ‘kou sui ji’ (ayam air liur).
It was named as such because apparently, long long ago, when this dish first came out, it was so good everyone salivated just by the sight of the chicken! :O

But the irony is, my brother found a faux eyelash in it! FHL, or perhaps it is a rooster’s feather. I DON’T KNOW! But it seems pretty gross to me.

We had 4 tables….

My table was the noisiest. I used to be in the ‘kiddy’ table and wished so badly that I could join the ‘cool yuppie table’ as I watched them drink and laughed so loud. Now that I am in, I wonder if my younger cousins ever thought the same way I did. ^x^

Teik Yih! We were kinda forcing cousie Ah Yih from Taiping to strike us a girly pose with the Mandarine orange FHL.

My beloved ‘baby’ cousin Julian. He’s the youngest in the family <3

Edison Chen meh! rofl
My Hot Cousin

This is my hawt Natalie Portman cousin Nicole Tan Sze Yin in her GAP T!

We all don’t look alike alike, but no one can totally deny our resemblance.

Pisang | Zero (Ling) | Sotong | naughty Baby J

Our family macam rombongan!

Crossing the road – The restaurant is a walking distance to the groom’s house :

Groom’s mummy welcoming relatives in…

Fuyoh ONG arh!!!

Writing family names to label feast tables for the big day.

Then we took a short walk to Raychelle’s new apartment. It felt as big as a shopping mall! *faints on floor*

You can prolly make 2 swimming pools up there and a BBQ corner.
Now allow me to end this post with a happy goodbye :

Have a great day everyone~ I shall go shopping for CNY now, alone. (Yes I MUST mention the ‘ALONE’ word because I never expect to be doing this alone)
See you here tomorrow!
