Dancin’ on the Railway

IMG_2479

While it is always fun to visit new places, there’s something beautiful and nostalgic about swinging by places you used to frequent during your childhood times. This railway station was one of them. i used to have a story book about a happy train (with a biggg smiley face) that goes ‘toot toot!’. As a child i always admired the little cartoon boy who works on it so one fine day, mum decided to take me to the station to see what a train looks like in real life. i was slightly disappointed that it didn’t turn out to look as ‘friendly’ as i thought it would be, but the location instantly became our favorite hang out spot. Sometimes we would just sit there and wait for the train, just to miss it. On a trip back to my hometown, (finally) my brother and i got to play on the tracks. That’s the best part about being grown ups – no more supervision from your parents!
