It definitely feels like less than a week ago when we left KL city for our hometown… now we’re back on the highway again; getting closer to pffttt – Monday. This year we do it a bit differently as we came back in 2 cars (dad drove mum while brother drove me). There is a big difference when it comes to who the driver is. With my dad, you can expect either total silence with occasional old advises breaking through, or Hokkien music all the way. Most of the time you get both (we don’t have a choice, really). But with my brother, we get to set up some hardcore karaoke session with my awesome feet in the air~! Not to forget, here are a few of my current favorite things to have when traveling on the road:

Taking the picture above felt more of a dare than a challenge. Eri and i were crossing the busy road ala “gan cheong spider” and the local pedestrians were either staring or whistling at us (i can’t decide which is more the monkey – them, or us) but still i couldn’t give this road sign a miss. Thanks to my old time Tassie friend, Zuk who came to the rescue and is ever so kind to take us around the (whole) city. Here’s one last post on how we spent our last day at KK, in pictures.

Time to bid farewell to yesterday and greet hello to more holidays!

They say a smile that comes from the heart of a person who is truly happy is the most beautiful. It is accompanied by a glow that lingers around even after the smile has vanished. Both fortunately and unfortunately, i have a few KK posts left to share some happiness transpired from within when i was still in love with the state of being loved. Love comes in many forms of disguise sometimes it is hard to recognize especially when we are fooled by one ilk. However, those who never stopped caring will eventually (in time) make you see a different kind of love that may be more real than the one that made you blind. To my best friend Eri, happy belated birthday and thank you for always without fail, be there to pick up the pieces of my heart that broke a million times, and for listening to my hopeless sonnet on replay. This post of golden sunset is dedicated to you, and to those you who could use some glow.

This piece of heaven must be one of the most picturesque slices the galaxy could possibly annex. Speaking of which, Samsung is coming out with their newest smartphone + tablet named GALAXY Note. It’s not in Malaysia yet, but i saw 5 unboxing videos at the following list:

As a fresh start of the ‘discounted’ week (thanks to a long weekend), i’ve decided to post up some pictures of beautiful beaches and nice resorts to lighten things up even more. Ol’ time Tassie friend, Zuk, was kind enough to drive us girls around town with great hospitality. Our first visit was to Nexus Villas & Suites at Karambunai. We heard it costs 1000 bucks for a 1 night stay.

Orange sunsets are as overrated as life. Don’t get me wrong, i love golden skies. In fact, i have one coming up that is absolutely stunning. But here is a different kind of sunset for a change which spells infinity; where the sky and sea harmonize as one, taken at the gorgeous Sunset Bar @ Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa.

i find it fascinating to look at pictures taken from someone else’s camera, especially if we happen to venture on a same trip together. It is nothing about evading privacy really, but more to see what other eyes find interesting enough to capture. They are rarely the same unless coming from the same photographer. Speaking of Kota Kinabalu, there was a massive party by XPLAY that rocked the city and its people with good sounds, great vibes, and awesome grooves! It was definitely a mind-blowing experience for party-goers around the country. The highlight of the night was DJ SHY who came all the way from Los Angeles to perform her A-game for the night:
