Starting with brunch, we had :

Spicy Flowery Crab Mee Hoon

Mom even helped us dig out the meat out of those crabs. So touched…  T__________T

Sze Chuan Style Hot & Sour Soup - verrryyy appetizing.

IMG_2299

Pulut Leper – A delicacy from Terengganu, pronounced as “pulut liper“. Ianya merupakan pulut berintikan ikan.

IMG_2302

Ate too much we had to go for a swim in the pool to speed up digestion.

Then as we were watching TV halfway, mum surprised us with these huge, bigass prawns! :

Holy Moly!

Wonder where these prawns were going? All of em’, into the Treasure Pot.

Let’s start with the base of the pot.

IMG_2310

Stuffed Bean Curd Puffs, Nam Yee Yam, turnips & baby corns.

Now let’s take a 360 degree look :

What really grabbed my attention though, was the giant abalones and huge braised dried scallops. Seems like size does matter! XD

IMG_2319

Here we also have braised dried oysters, salted prawns (now you know where the prawns went), Golden Money Bags

Wondering what’s in the money bags? Heheheh…

IMG_2325

Mom’s so creative and cute at the same time. She chose to surprise us with quail eggs!! :D

IMG_2322

Each of us siblings had an abalone EACH. <3 <3

Forced my lazy ass to get up the couch and doll-up as my friends were coming over :

IMG_2328

Wore an XS Jaspal dress; a birthday gift from Audrey. (she really thinks I’m an XS but I’m not that thin lorrr! luckily nge ngeh jiii still can fit).

My friends are… mainly guys. Not because I was a bitch at high school, but because I was the only Chinese female in the Science stream.  -__________-

Last but not least, just like our previous post, we highlight the star dish at the end of our post.

For CNY day 1, it was the Tiger Chiffon Cake. For CNY day 2 :
