Cin City

Some people seem to have so many friends. I browse thru their Facebook albums and I see so many different faces; I don’t remember whose profile am I viewing anymore.

Some people do have many friends. I wonder if these people ever feel lonely. I’ve been there; hangin’ out with different groups of people everytime, but I didn’t enjoy it for long. After a while it feels so tiring and repetitive. I flip back my memories and realize I don’t really know these people. Who are they? Who am I to them? Who am I to you.

It didn’t take me long to scale down my friends to only a few handfuls. My right grab holds the hands of my lovelings in this country; my left hand, the ties of you in Australia. I find it so much easier to manage my relationships with friends that way. i.e. Updating each other about our lives, who put on weight, who loose some… it’s so much more fun and intimate. (:

The lil’ moments we spent together are like pieces of petals I store in my heart. The fainter the scent, the harder I try to capture. The dryer they become, the more I love them. KinWai, Acap, Hassan, Vaseist, Khulbir, Najib, Shasha, Nurul, Kamini, Felix & Airene… I hope you still love me cuz I love ya’ll so so much. I miss you. I miss you. I miss you. Can we travel back time to BBQ, go jetty fishing, dance, play and laugh so hard just like the old times??? )’=

Meanwhile, here in Malaysia I’m thankful to have my speed dial buddies- Eri, Ruby, Jeremy and Audrey. I manage to spend most of my time with Ruby @ events or parties. She’s my grrl who lives life to the fullest. My grrl who taught me to listen, agree, and to see ugly incidents as coincidence. The beautiful thing is that she doesn’t realizes this.

A closure of a chapter only leads to a new one. That was about BEP; here comes Paul Freeman and Boys Like Girls.

I never knew who Paul Freeman was until I took a glimpse of his pretty face amongst the crazy crowd; I fell in love with him! *so drama WTF*

It was bloody crowded we couldn’t move at all. I was pushed and squashed my toes could’ve become mash potatoes in my heels! All just to see Martin Johnson; the vocalist from BLG:

This is by far the best picture of him that I could take from such an awkward distance. Am kinda proud about myself.

Ruby & Francis left even before BLG because of the mad crowd. Jere and I on the other hand, left IMMEDIATELY after BLG. It was seriously the worst venue they could’ve chose for a gig like this. Qiu qiu, shame shame. But gotta give credits for bringing Lenka down.

On the way to supper, Jere noticed this:

Nothing spectacular, you think? Look again! It is actually the public screen in KL city. Where they air ads and shit? How rare. Haha!!

Supper was at a roadside restaurant along Jalan Alor that’s famous for its chicken wings. Quite delicious I must say; if you don’t mind the mess and oil staining your face.

Love supper. But it’s baddd for your diet. BADDD!!!!! I repeat. B.A.D.

Last but not least is this part about ma bitch’s 22nd birthday:

There’s no real direction I was heading to in this post, nor a hidden message to it. When it comes to me, whenever you read me, it is what it is. The difference either is you get it, or not.

But I guess what I really wanna say is that I enjoy communicating with people individually; one at a time. Or in small groups at least. Getting to know someone well makes him / her so much more interesting as a person. Don’t you think?

We are all made up of sooo many layers since we’re young; just like an onion, or even a tree! Don’t you think it’s a lil’ wasted if we only understood that an onion is purple, and never knew it could also make you cry?

When you take the initiative to know someone better and have their best interest at heart, people wanna know more of you too. Most of the time, people are just afraid. Sometimes all you have to do is just take A step closer to each other and try to see eye-to-eye. It’s one of  those things that’s not about ‘easier said than done‘.

Wouldn’t you want to look around now and notice that you’re able to count the number of people you care for, who love you for who you are; not what you are?
