I can't tell you why it never worked out, especially when both of you are so nice and friendly. I've been on both sides of the fence, and all I have to say is that you'll get another story to tell, hopefully it'll have a happy ending...I'm counting on it. But real life isn't like stories, theres no such thing as happy endings and sad endings, just happy and miserable moments where we have to either cherish or pull through and wait for the next moment.
