INT. CHACE’S LIVING ROOM – DAY

CAMERA TILT SLOWLY – CHACE’S FEET ON CARPET TO TV

Faint TV noise announcing: “… is a simple phone with a smart look! Xpax is the 1ST in Malaysia to launch the Blackberry Curve 8520 and it’s services for yuppies.”

EXTREME CLOSE-UP – BLACK BLACKBERRY CURVE 8520 ON GLASS TABLE

We see the Blackberry beeps. CHACE receives an SMS. His hand reaches out to it.

WIDE SHOT – LIVING ROOM

CHACE reads the SMS and jumps up the sofa doing a booty dance. He then reaches below the black sofa and takes out an ICY BLUE BLACKBERRY CURVE 8250 BOX. He opens the box, takes out a new phone and switches it on.

CLOSE UP – CHACE

CHACE records himself singing Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby” using the phone and saves it as a ringtone.

MOTHER (calling)

Chace, you’re gonna be late! Get your ass here NOW!

We hear pots and plates clashing busily.

CHACE (looks at the phone)

She’s gonna love this! YEE HAA!

He kisses the phone and leaves it on the table.

WIDE SHOT – EMPTY SPACE

CAMERA ZOOMS ON – BLACK BLACKBERRY AND ICY BLUE BLACKBERRY

Two ants, (ESHWAN and EYNWAN) crawl into the scene. They walk around and on the phones surface admiring them.They bump into each other a few times and continue to walk around again.

SFX – Footsteps and CHACE whistling.

ESHWAN and EYNWAN panic and scurry around. Each of them manage to squeeze themselves into one of the BLACKBERRIES each in time, before we see CHACE’s legs in the scene.

CLOSE UP – CHACE’S HANDS

CHACE keeps the ICY BLUE BLACKBERRY back into the box and hides it under the sofa.

ZOOM IN – ESHWAN’S HEAD POPPING UP FROM BLACK BLACKBERRY ON GLASS TABLE

A drop of tear comes out from ESHWAN’s eye.
