Project WHAT?! Alfafa???

After being absent for a week, I don’t know where to start. In fact, I’m finding it quite funny that I’m experiencing a slight phobia now to start blogging again. It’s like starting school or resuming work after a long holiday. That’s how it feels.

I’ve never abandoned my blog (for a WEEK!). Even when I’m travelling, I get guest bloggers to help fill in. Without internet connection, I can easily walk down to Gloria Jeans. But without a computer, I’m what you call ‘FML long time’. Cuz I’m not a fan of cyber cafes, and no one is ever so glad to lend you their laptops, are they?

However, it’s not like I’m totally free sitting at home either. I’ve been to many auditons & interviews. The lastest one is for DAIA’s soap powder TV commercial. I had sooooooo much fun. =D

Behind the scenes…

Wrapping up – before driving off to the next event.

Some shoots can be very fun and fulfilling. While some shoots, are just tragic and disastrous.

About 2 weeks ago, I received a call from NN saying that Ringo chose me as her friend for this show about bloggers.

2 days ago,  I went to the shoot and somebody told me that the producer(s) choose me because “You can create drama mah!” FYL.

In the first scene, I was interviewed by the host who introduced me in the most unfavourable way. More, the director already had answers for my questions! What exactly does this mean? This obviously can’t be called an interview~

The 1ST Q went something like this:

“So, you hated Ringo at first. Is that true?”

I agreed, because that’s true, I disliked her because we didn’t have any chance to know each other at all. The following sentence was that I do like her now, and he fucking screamed “CUT!”

I was there to play a role of defending myself and just say no no no to the questions I was asked. How ridiculous! I thought to myself; I came allllll the way here, get no pay and in return, what I get is to damage my name by bringing up stale tales from yesterday?! You think I work for you for free ah?! Sibeh Chao Mahai.

The point where my guts turned green was the WAX part. There were 3 of us and I was fixed to do the BRAZILLIAN WAX?! I screamed in terror, “Why are you guys keep forcing me!”, and I thought that was it.

Before I could take my second breath, the stupid producer asked me to “Go into the waxing room and FAKE a long loud hauling scream.” As if I DID the wax after all. I declined countless times properly until the host came to ‘advise’ me again. That’s when I loose my temper. KNN CCB!

“Why don’t YOU, do it then?!”

Let me make this clear again. If this is a paid thing and I agreed to sign a contract doing what these damn assholes asked me to, it’s DIFFERENT. But if I was lured there by a LIE and then USED for some crap show; Hello! I’m a Human Being with rights, a family name, a reputation, and my pride, alright??? How can you do that?

It is very UNPROFESSIONAL and unfair to lie or HIDE from me about the TRUTH of why I should be there.

So next time folks, before you do anything (of this sort), TRY to ask for pay or at least some allowance because every production has a budget after all. Secondly, read EXTRA carefully before you sign a bloody contract. Like in my case, THANK GOD I didn’t have any contracts; at least I can still protect my own rights instead of being some dog talent.

If you think I’m being a drama queen, wear my shoes and think again.

Project WHAT?! *pffftttt!*

so disrespectful =/ could feel my blood beginning to boil just reading that.

gotta love a girl who can stand up for herself though =)

btw, no disrespect meant for ‘ringo’, but that sounds more like a pet’s name than a person’s =)

huh!!! i totally support you. these producers are crazy people who only cares about money making. that’s very disrecpectful. just because you accidentally created drama from MDG days, they used you again to do the same shi*t. yea…the correct way of describing ‘using people’s name and reputation’.

that interview is meant to dramatize the whole situation at the expense of your reputation. i say you get away from people like that, they turn frens into enemies and lies into truths…f*#k them!
