My Ugly Boyfriend

8.45 PM:
I mesmerized myself in the shower. The thick, luscious lather blanketed my skin. The sweet scent so enchanting it took my breath away; better than my boyfriend does. I let the water trickle down my neck; it felt like a free spa treatment after a grueling day at work. Plus the jam… it’s atrocious.
9.10 PM:
My body covered in a thin layer of foam now. I enjoy long showers at night where no one interrupts. Sometimes, I even silent my cell and leave it in the hall. But today, something different happened. My door bell rang. Feeling apprehensive, I grabbed a towel and wrapped myself. Water dripped onto the cold hard tiles as I tip-toed to the door.
9.15 PM:
It was my boyfriend, *Dave. He stood there, looking diabolical and as tired as hell. I could barely recognize him. His shirt; which took me the whole damn night to iron was all crumpled now. Both his hands looked as if they were tied behind his back. I pulled a skeptical smile, as my heart started to race. Some one might be hiding behind him with a knife or gun, God knows!
“Were you raped? What happened?!” I wanted to say that, but I didn’t. Instead, I went:
“Were you robbed? What happened honey?“
He starred at me like a zombie. I, still wrapped in my towel, had never felt so exposed and vulnerable before. Apparently, he forgot his keys.
“I’ve got something for you. Open up the door.“
Well that doesn’t sound very convincing does it? I did a quick 270 degree glance with the corner of my eyes. Everything seemed clear. I slowly stuck the key into the keyhole.. and turned it to the right…. It click. I didn’t have an inkling of what I was doing.
9.25 PM:
David jolted the door hard and carried me up! He threw me to the sofa. I shut my eyes hard, feeling his heavy breath against my face. Surprisingly, he smelt so good. I could hear the water running from the shower.
“There you go.” Dave whispered into my ear. I opened my eyes, and saw a gift wrapped up nicely in my hands. *GASPS!*
“Open it. At least the next time I come knocking at your door while you shower, you won’t get all grumpy and… You know…” he said scratching his head; which I’m very sure doesn’t itch. That’s David.
For a minute, I felt so ashamed. So that’s how I’ve been treating him. My stress has got the better of me. I’m no longer the sweet, lovely girl he used to know. )= I teared the present paper gingerly, until I saw a yellow box.
“It’s a box of… TEA? Lipton Yellow Label HIRAMEKI Tea?!” I was laughing my ass off so terribly I couldn’t stop my tears from rolling onto the carpet. My boyfriend stunned. He walked away.
“Hey, where are you going?!” I was still laughing, crutching my belly hard.
9.45 PM:
He took out a kettle and a set of cute teacups. Grabbed his packet of Lipton Hirameki and gave me a cute sulk 15 centimeters away from my lips. *AWWW!* I felt so blessed. If my job hadn’t been such a mind and body kidnapper, my romantic boyfriend would have lesser to do to surprise me. (:
“Next time, minimize the time you shower and make more tea for us, Okay baby?“
OMG my boyfriend is better than long showers or teas but REMEMBER, a stressful boyfriend is NOT sexc. You wouldn’t want to IMAGINE. No no~
10 PM:
We sat down to have a cup of tea.
“Baby, I know you are a very brilliant lady.“

“Well c’mmon. You are. Let me ask you a question.“

We enjoyed another few sips of tea and started to unwind ourselves… Dave started unbuttoning his once crispy long sleeve shirt (i ironed wannn OK!), and OH. MY. GOD. did he look SEXC~!
Well, let me tell you that my boyfriend is actually very ugly. Hahaha! Why the hell there are still boneheads bringing this up?? It was like few months back and I thought we've moved on? What do you get for bringing this up anyway? It's not like they're gonna pull back her rank. The competition was based on the votes that people believe in her and adores her, it has nothing to do with father chipping/bribe the producer. If that's the case someone would have done so for Hanis and the rest. If you think that her father is involved in all of this then PROVE IT! And proof doesn't mean by linking to someone elses blog writing out a long post reading nothing but the F*** word stating their own idiotic opinion. That's a pointless proof…it's not even worth reading when I read it. If you don't have it then just shut up about it and go cry on your blankie!

OKAY ..You know WHY MDG FANS are PISSED OFF and will probably continue to HATE on Cindy untill she stops blogging?
BECAUSE…yes, the show was based on the number of votes received per contestant. It was ALSO true that Cindy's brother showed up as the HIGHEST voter week after week. So BAD ENOUGH they BOUGHT the win, the brother actually won prizes for being the top voter.
Okay FINE, but this makes a show like MDG LOSE CREDIBILITY.
It is a FIRST RUN SHOW. People who LOVE SHOWS LIKE THIS hope and PRAY that it continues and that perhaps there may be a season TWO to look forward to.
To whoeever it was that said bring on the proof, CINDY gave the proof in one of the mdg episodes. SHe said something along the lines of "SO if that persons father spend 15k my father also spend 15k lah" I'm not quotin her as saying EXACTLY that but it was something along those lines.
I am a Malaysian overseas like bodoh watching the show every time there is a new episode online. I was hoping and praying that the show would be a success cuz it really would bring the level of Msian tv PERHAPS up to par with what's going on with the rest of the world.
Cindy's fault, is that she ALLOWED her father, or her brother, or whoEVER it was, to cast in vote after vote after vote.
This is CLEARLY unfair. The girl has loads of cash. What bugs me about her is that she ALLowed it to happen. I mean, my dad's got cash too, but I like I said in a previous post, I would have stopped him from voting for me like that.
We were voting for a Malaysian Dreamgirl la. You at least want to see the winner…work the catwalk ONCE right?

ANd Cindy's pictures are mostly just her posing with people, not doing any "Activities" to say really. That can be accomplished by a *tap* *tap* "Hi can take picture with me?". dear shalini…seriously?? u may not like it, but the comparison to american idol is a valid one…both shows are vote based right?? and the person with the most votes wins?? correct me if i am wrong, american idol does not cap the number of votes any single person can cast…correct?? so it would say for example allow bill gates to spend 1million juz to vote for the person he likes… STOP wasting ur time hating cindy for using a system… blame the organizers for not setting up a proper voting system which would not be susceptible to abuse ie. 1 person voting a million times…saying MDG failed solely because of cindy, dats juz being naive… the show had many failings, none of them being cindy's fault…

Stephen please understand that Malaysian Dreamgirls was a BABY. IT WAS A FIRST OF ITS KIND EVER. A FIRST RUN. That is what makes it problematic. This show is losely based on America's Next Top Model with an American Idol based voting system right. ALl of that is fine, it's just that it's a small firm, Capxion or whatever it was, that put up this show, it had alot to risk, and it's fucking luck la that it's FIRST go this rich chick got money to vote over-riding what would deem her as a true Malaysian Dream Girl.
AYoh don't even start la Johnny Tai. Maybe all the cindy haters should have a show-down with the cindy lovers? I'm not hiding behind ANYTHING. I HATED the injustice with MDG and I'm fucking pissed off that the show didn't GET a chance.

Don't blame her for her winning or even her brother or her father. At that time anyone could vote as many times as they want. Yes, that's the flaw at that part and I'm sure they've look in to that. I myself voted 2-3 times a week for her and also for Ringo and Hanis. I felt like I have no boundaries in voting but just vote anyway. If I have a daughter who is in this competition, I would vote for her 1mil times because I love my daughter very much.

Sigh. cindy. i can't go down to KL anymore. I am currently working as an intern at some engineering firm, during normal working hours. And will be working as an Apple sales representative at night, and weekends. No more time to party at all. =( I need to earn money, to buy myself a DSLR. Dad does not give me a single cent at all ever since i came back. =(

You know….when you watch shows like MDG, be prepared that anyone in the competition has a chance to win as long as they get votes coming in to keep them in the running. Same like Malaysian Idol Season 2. Do you think Daniel Lee was any better than Nita? It was his good looks that 'generated' votes from the teenagers. Not that he can perform better than Nita. I'm sorry if i've offended anyone..or his fans.
It will be a different thing if it were the judges' decision in the finals for MDG.
Anyways, there will be MDG Season 2, i heard. We'll see how the system go this time.

Reality shows like this are expected to have unexpected winners or those who got eliminated. All is based on the votes, and the judges are there to give the voters their opinion so that the voters can decide who to vote. The 1st season's voting system is indeed crap because it has no boundaries on how many votes you can put in a day and weeks. But lets do hope that the next season doesn't repeat it.
but please, just don't drag the issue anymore.
